Prescription Saver ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — used to create and authenticate your account via a one-time passcode. We do not collect a password.
• Prescription images — photos you upload are stored securely in the cloud and associated with your account only.
• Prescription metadata — title, doctor name, hospital name, date of visit, and tags you enter voluntarily.
• Family member names — names you add to organize prescriptions by family member, stored in your account.
• Reminder dates — stored locally on your device only; never sent to our servers.
• Purchase data — if you subscribe to Pro, your subscription status is managed by RevenueCat and Google Play. We do not store your payment card details.
• Voice search audio — if you use the optional voice search feature (microphone icon in the search bar), your spoken query is captured and sent to Android's built-in speech recognition service, operated by Google. We do not receive, store, or transmit your audio. The recognised text is used only to search your records on-device. You can use text search at any time instead.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the Prescription Saver service — storing, organizing, and displaying your prescriptions. Specifically:

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure
• To store and serve your prescription images and metadata
• To determine your plan limits (free vs. Pro)
• To send optional refill reminders you set yourself

3. Data Storage and Security

Your prescription images and metadata are stored on Supabase, a secure cloud platform hosted on AWS infrastructure. Security measures include:

• All data encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+
• All data encrypted at rest using AES-256
• Access to your images protected by signed URLs that expire after one hour
• Row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data

We recommend using a private email address not shared with others for your account.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data or health information with third parties. The limited exceptions are:

• Supabase — our cloud infrastructure provider processes your data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
• RevenueCat — processes purchase and subscription status data when you subscribe to Pro. Their privacy policy applies to this data.
• Google Play — handles payment processing for subscriptions. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Google Speech Recognition — if you use voice search, your spoken query is processed by Google's on-device or cloud speech recogniser. We have no access to this audio. Google's privacy policy governs this processing.

When you use the Share feature, you choose what to share and with whom — we have no control or visibility into that sharing.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may:

• Delete individual prescriptions or images at any time from within the app
• Delete your entire account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below

Upon account deletion, all your prescription images and metadata will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Prescription Saver is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
